Larry James Walker Obituary

Larry James “Tacklebox” Walker, 56, passed away on February 14, 2026. He was born on September 3, 1969 to the late James Otis and Paula Kay Shultz Walker in Kankakee, IL.

Larry is survived by his wife Shannon Dorval Walker, sons; James, Matthew and Gabriel Walker, daughters; Syntara and Rachel Walker, grandchildren; Cianna Turner, Camari Armstrong, Roman Kirkland, Noah Walker, and Khelani Cousart.

He was predeceased by his sisters, Kay Marie and Gerrylynn Walker. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
