Kevin W. Healey, of Leesville, South Carolina and formerly a longtime resident of Wrentham, MA. Passed away on Sunday, December 28, 2025 after a short and rigorous battle with cancer. He was 57 years old.
Born in Norwood MA on September 18th, 1968 Kevin was the son of William Healey and the late Cynthia Healey of Wrentham. Kevin grew up in Wrentham, MA where he spent his entire childhood on Harvard Lane. After graduating from King Philip High School he went on to serve in the United States Army. Upon returning from the military, he worked at his parent’s family restaurant “Reveille” in downtown Franklin where the next part of his story started.
He is lovingly remembered by his former wife, Kristen Healey, who remained a close and cherished part of his life. They had two daughters together. Kevin is survived by his eldest daughter Alexandra Healey and her wife Britney Shaw of Franklin, his daughter Samantha Trufant and her husband Andrew Trufant of Franklin. And his two cherished grandchildren who he called “his babies” Chase and Charleigh who called him Papa.
Kevin is survived by his wife Danna Healey of Leesville. He described Danna as the love of his life. Starting their journey together in Rhode Island- the two moved down the east coast and spent the past 8 years together in their South Carolina home making memories at Folly beach with each other and cherished friends. Kevin was an animal lover- him and his wife rescued many dogs over the years together. Currently together they had; Chief, Sazzy, Callie & Roxy. He described Chief as “his boy”
He is also survived by his father-in-law Wayne Taylor of Myrtle Beach, SC. Brother- in-law Chris Jones of Hayesville, NC. Two special friends that became family, Ann Pruter of Leesville, SC and Amy St Angelo of Providence, Rhode Island whom they called each other their “best friend” And predeceased in death by beloved mother-in-law Denise Jones of the home.
Kevin had a passion for design. He was an incredible artist and had an eye for creativity. He spent years as a project manager and remodeling homes. He loved football, cooking, spending time with his family and listening to artists like Stevie Ray Vaughan.
Kevin will be remembered as someone who could make an entire room belly laugh. He was the best story teller and a big teddy bear. His sense of humor will always be cherished and never forgotten. A cherished Husband, Father, Grandfather and Friend.
There will be no calling hours or burial. Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic Batesburg-Leesville Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
