Mr. Kenrad R. “Kenny” Beasley Sr., 78, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 10, 2026. He was born on January 23, 1948 in Darlington, South Carolina to the late Ulysses and Arthola Humphries Beasley. Kenny proudly served in the U.S. Army, was a member of Ebenezer Southern Methodist Church, and worked for J.B. Martin Co. for 13 years.
Surviving are his wife of 58 years, Virgina Shealy Beasley; son, Kenrad R. (Ken) Beasley Jr. (Sandy); daughters, Jenny Metts (Jens) and Amanda Mae Beasley; sisters, Voncille Patricia Boan and Shelda Veronica Dutton; grandchildren, Megan Stanton (Shon), Samantha Keisler (Ben), Donavon Beasley (Tara), April Metts, Avionna Coleman, Chloe Beasley, Abigail Beasley; great-grandchildren, Jason Kyzer, Chase Stillson, Sophie Keisler and Evie Metts.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 13, 2026 at Ebenezer Southern Methodist Church with Rev. Gerald Watford and Rev. John Hood officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the sancuary. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Menieres Research Foundation at MUSC Charleston at 18 Bee Street, MSC 450 Charleston, SC 29425. Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic Batesburg-Leesville Chapel is assisting the Beasley family with arrangements.
