Kenneth Russell Shealy

Services for Kenneth Russell Shealy, 67, will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Mt. Horeb Lutheran Church with the Rev. Ralph G. Hill officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Saturday at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Lexington Chapel.  Memorials may be made to the American Heart Assoc., 190 Knox Abbott Dr. Suite 301, Cayce SC 29033 or to the American Diabetes Assoc., 107 Westpark Blvd. #220, Columbia SC 29210.

Mr. Shealy passed away, Wednesday, December 4, 2019. Born in Columbia, he was the son of the late Adam Lewis and Doris Isabelle Durst Shealy.  He was a member of Mt. Horeb Lutheran Church and retired as a mechanic with Vulcan Materials with 38 years of service.  He enjoyed working on John Deere tractors, farming, hunting and fishing and never met a stranger. 

Surviving are his wife of 43 years, Renee M. Shealy; brother-in-law, Gary L. Meetze; beloved dog, Cricket and horse, Scotch Bar Skippin “Bossman”.  He was predeceased by his brother, Larry Wayne Shealy.
