Obituary

Kathryn S. Richardson, 61, passed away Tuesday, September 12, 2023. Born in Fort Pierce, FL, she was a daughter of the late Allen and Virginia Kettler Sikkema.

Mrs. Richardson was a surgical technologist at Lexington Medical Center, she loved the outdoors, camping, and being on the lake.

Surviving are her husband, Burke Richardson; son, Erik Richardson; brothers, Darwin Sikkema, Robert Sikkema, Donald Sikkema, Kenneth Sikkema; sisters, Sandra Sikkema and Barbara Walker.

She was predeceased by a sister Sherry David. Private services for Mrs. Richardson will be held at a later date in Charleston, SC. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 3525 Piedmont Road N.E. Building 5 Suite 120, Atlanta, GA 30305. Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic B-L Chapel is assisting the family.
