Kathleen "Kay" Miller

Ms. Kathleen “Kay” Rebecca Miller, 63, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 7, 2025 after a long extended illness. She was born July 12, 1962 in Columbia, South Carolina to the late George Donald and Gloria Copeland Miller. Kay was a graduate of Batesburg-Leesville High School, and a graduate of the University of South Carolina. She worked at Shealy’s Bar-B-Que and the United States Postal Service. Kay was an avid Gamecock fan and was a member of First Baptist Church of Batesburg.

Surviving are her sister-in-law, Joan H. Miller; nephews, Ashley D. Miller, Alex R. Miller; and niece, Laurie M. Rikard;

Kay is predeceased by her brothers, Donald S. Miller (2011) and Chad C. Miller (2023).

The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at LMC Extended Care (Caughman Way) and Pruitt Health Hospice for their excellent and dedicated service. Also a tremendous thank you for the many kind gestures, visits, and prayers from Kay’s church family, First Baptist Church of Batesburg through the years.
