Karissa Green Summer passed away on November 9, 2021. She was born in Lexington, South Carolina to Bonnie(Frank) Sanders and Steve (Diane) Green. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, granddaughter, aunt and niece. However, what brought her the most happiness during her life was being a mother.
She is survived by her parents; daughter; siblings, Adam (Carlie), Bradley (Heather), sister, Erin (Josh); and grandfather, William (Carol) Ranson. Additionally, she was survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins who will also miss her dearly. She was predeceased by her grandparents, Homer and Pauline Green; Virginia P. Ranson.
Karissa loved making things as she was very creative. She loved her family and was fiercely protective of them. She also enjoyed helping others in any way she could and was able to show that by giving the gift of life through organ donation. She had a love for animals of any kind and was known for rescuing animals of all shapes and sizes throughout the years.
While her time on this earth was cut way too short, we know that she is having the reunion of a lifetime with her grandparents and those who have gone before where there is no sorrow, hurt or tears.
