Karen Hall Ferry

Graveside services for Karen Hall Ferry, 72, will be conducted at 3:00 pm Sunday June 6, 2021 at Steadman Baptist Church Cemetery.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service in the church sanctuary.  Memorials may be made to Steadman Baptist Church, 1011 North Edisto Road, Leesville, SC  29070.  Barr-Price Funeral Home, Historic B-L Chapel is assisting the family.

  Mrs. Ferry died Friday May 28, 2021.  Born in Lexington County, she was a daughter of the late Clifton C. Hall, Sr. and Carrie Massengale Hall.  Mrs. Ferry was a member of Kittiwake Baptist Church and retired from Colonial Life Insurance Company.

  Survivors include her son, Chad Smith, grandchildren, Hannah Smith and Chase Smith, sisters, Mary Fallaw and Martha Boatwright, sister-in-law, Matilda Hall, nieces and nephews.

  She was predeceased by brothers, Sloan Hall and Clifton C. Hall, Jr., sisters, Mildred Baughman, Joreta Gregory, Vivian Edwards and Annelle Thomas.

  The family wishes to express their thanks and appreciation for all the visits, cards, prayers, and love shown to Karen during her illness.  Also, thanks to LMC Extended Care, Crews Point, and Tri-County Hospice for the care they all provided.
