A Funeral Mass for Justo Palomino, Sr., 96, will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 9, 2020 at Barr-Price Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Southland Memorial Park.
Mr. Palomino passed away October 4, 2020. Born in Cuzco, Peru, he was the son of the late Raymundo Palomino and Hermene Gilda Ormachea. He was a very active and hardworking man. He loved working with his hands where he enjoyed working on cars as a mechanic and building various projects. During his time in South America, he ran a long distance taxi service for a number of years. Mr. Palomino was an avid outdoorsman, which included fishing. He also enjoyed playing the guitar, breaking bread and drinking tea. He resided in the United States of America for over 30 years.
He is survived by his daughters, Kristen McCroan and Judith “Martha” Palomino; sons, Justo Pastor Palomino, Jr. (Elizabeth), Raul Palomino (Judy), and Jervacio “Carlos” Palomino; grandchildren, Rosanna, Briana, Kimberly G., Kimberly P., Carla, Brandon and Abraham; and 6 great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a loving wife of over 60 years, Juana Palomino; sisters, Rosa Palomino, Mercedes Palomino, and Ana Palomino; and brothers, Antonio Palomino, Francisco “Pancho” Palomino, and Jenaro Palomino.
