A memorial service for Juanita J. Fain, 91, will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, November 28, 2020 at Awaken Church. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Lexington Chapel, is assisting the family.
Ms. Fain passed away November 20, 2020. Born in Atlanta, she was the daughter of the late George Cecil Mitchell and Erma Mitchell Wade, and step-daughter of Luther Guy Wade. She was a very giving and loving individual. If there was ever a need for help, she would fill that need. Ms. Fain was the most contented, kind, generous and grateful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She was blessed with all she had. She was characterized as being the ultimate care-giver, very selfless, and most importantly, very spiritual in loving Jesus.
Ms. Fain is survived by her daughter, Donna Price (John); son, Robert “Bob” Lawrence Fain, Jr. (Nancy); grandchildren, Jarid Brown (Anita), Michelle Michelin (Eric), Wesley Price, Brandy Netzer (Ryan), and Jaime Berens (Michael); great-grandchildren, Cole, Raleigh, Wynston, Crosby, Josalyn, John-Michael, Lylian, Estella, Brighten, Lynlee, Lincoln, and Oliver; sister-in-law, Deloris “Dee” Mitchell; and her dog she considered her baby, Molly.
She was predeceased by her brothers, Edward Lee Mitchell and Gary Lamar Mitchell.
