Joyce W. Rentz

Ms. Joyce W. Rentz, 96, of Lexington SC, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on July 31, 2025. She was born on September 3, 1928 in Lynchburg, Virginia, the only child of the late Clifford Woody and M. Pauline Rose Woody.

Ms. Rentz was primarily a homemaker throughout her life raising her four sons. She enjoyed painting, traveling, gardening, exercising and the company of her church friends.

She is survived by her sons, Herman (Rusty) W. Rentz Jr., Mark Anthony Rentz, and Hunter (Chris) Christopher Rentz (Karen). Surviving also are Grandchildren, Whitney Gunter, Ryan Rentz, Hailie Rentz, and Charles Richard ( Ricky ) Smith Jr.; and great grandson, Caleb M. Williams.

Ms. Rentz was predeceased by her late husband, Herman W. Rentz; her son, Carl (Randy) W. Rentz; her infant daughter, Robin Rentz; and her grandson, Jamie M. Johnson.

A Memorial Service will be held on, Thursday August 7, 2025 at Lexington Baptist Church, beginning at 11:00 am with visitation one hour prior at 10:00 am. Lexington Baptist Church is located at 308 E. Main St. Lexington SC 29072.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Lexington Baptist Church Missions located at 308 E. Main St. Lexington, SC 29072.
