Belinda “Joyce” Sox DeCaprio, 44, was completely healed on Thursday, December 11, 2025. She was born on September 11, 1981. Belinda was a graduate of Gilbert High School, Class of 2000 and was employed in Batesburg.
Joyce is survived by her children, Angelina DeCaprio Partridge (William) of Rutherfordton, NC, Isabella and Laura. Parents, Richard and Diane Woodle of Gilbert; sisters, Lisa (Shaun) Worley, Krystal (Toby) Taylor, Gennifer (Ross) Branham, Melissa Bargeron and brother, Everette Sox.
She is predeceased by her father, Charles E. Sox, Sr, sister, Tammy Merrill, uncle, Delmar Lampert. Joyce was the granddaughter of the late Leo and Thelma Lampert, Marion Holladay, James O. and Flora Driggers, Carl Woodle, and Frances Castles. She leaves behind aunts, uncles, many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A private memorial service will be held at the family’s discretion. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association or to a Recovery center of choice.
The family would like to thank the staff at Lexington Medical Center, ICU for the care provided to her Earthly body and support to the family in these last days. Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic Batesburg-Leesville Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
