Joseph "Joe" White

Mr. Joseph “Joe” Shelton White, 56, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 30, 2025. He was born on September 17, 1968 in Anderson, South Carolina to Gloria Beard and the late Larry White. Joe worked in Agricultural services, where he was an Operation Specialist with Opterra Solutions. In Joe’s free time, he enjoyed restoring cars; and was an outdoorsman, where he loved to hunt and fish.  Joe had a heart of gold, and would do anything for anyone that needed help.      

Surviving are his wife of 24 years, Patricia White; sister, Vickie Hall; and granddaughter, Makenzey Lucas.

He was predeceased by his daughter, Amber White.

In accordance with Joe’s wishes, no formal services will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to a charity of one’s choice.

Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic Batesburg-Leesville Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
