Johnny W Henderson

Funeral Services for Johnny W. Henderson, 89, will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 26, 2021 at Barr-Price Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. Burial will follow in Southland Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held 5-7 p.m. Sunday, July 25, 2021 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.

Mr. Henderson was born December 23, 1931 and went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 21, 2021. He was the son of the late Gladys P. Henderson and William L. Henderson. He was a devoted husband and father who loved his family unfailingly. He attended Fellowship Baptist Church in West Columbia faithfully and loved the church family with all of his heart. Mr. Henderson loved to cook, garden, and go fishing. He will be missed fiercely by everyone that knew him.

He was survived by his sons, Johnny W. Henderson, Jr. (Kathy) and James W. Henderson; daughters, Danita H. Caldwell (Lewis) and Becky H. Sutton (Tommy), 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his wife, Louise D. Henderson.
