Johnnie Cromer Obituary

 

Mr. Johnnie Wyman Cromer better known as “Man”, son of the late JP Cromer and Addie Rutherford, was born March 23,1938 in Pomaria SC. He departed his earthly life on Friday November 2,202 at Lexington Medical Center West Columbia SC surrounded by his family.

Man was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and uncle to everyone he came into contact with blood or not. As Man was losing his memory he always talked about his Mott and his JP. Man loved his family and was very proud to tell people he wasn’t from Monetta he from Newberry. ( LOL). He has had several jobs and was a man of many trades. Man was born in Pomaria and was raised in Newberry SC. He spent some time in New York and Columbia SC before moving to Monetta SC where he married Ms. Virginia “Sue” Morris.

Man was preceded in death by his father late JP Cromer, his mother Addie Rutherford, his daughter Mattie (Lee) Moyd, his sons Johnny Wyman Cromer Jr., Alfred Cromer, and Calvin Cromer, his grandchildren Almonzoe (Felicia) Cromer and Tirisha Moyd, his sisters Herdisene Williams, Mary Annie Lee Stephenson, Floree (Baby Sis) Sims.

Those left to cherish his precious memories are his wife Virginia Cromer and his son Roderick Morris both of the home. His daughters Darlene Cromer, Kathy Cromer, Sharon (Thomas) Cromer, Vanessa Brown, Ebony Burkett, and Rasheda Morris His son Quentin Myers. His Aunt Inez Livingston and lastly his adopted daughters Felicia West and Shemeka Durant-Burton. A host of Grandchildren Nieces, Nephews, - Cousins, and Friends. Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic Batesburg-Leesville Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
