John Thomas Campbell Jr.

John Thomas Campbell Jr., 52, of Columbia, South Carolina passed away peacefully on September 6, 2025, at MUSC Hospital. A celebration of life will take place at later date. Barr-Price Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel, is assisting the family.

John was the son of the late John Thomas Campbell Sr. and Linda Kay Hutton Pyles (Marshall Jackson Pyles). Born in Columbia, South Carolina, on June 8, 1973, John attended AC Flora High School. He spent over 25 years as a delivery driver and John loved cherishing time with his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his loving wife of 10 years, Connie, and his 9 children: Nick (Haile) Smith, Eddie Collachi (Shellie), Richard Collachi, Megan Ledford (Brandon), Ethan Ledford, Makayla Kirby, Buddy Kirby, Crystal Mixon (Randy) and Desiree’ Hartley; his 8 grandchildren: Valorie, Ben, Trinity, Lucian, Addy, Olivia, Everleigh and Alexis; sister, Linda Lee Gay; brother, Marshall Pyles (Emma); brother-in-law, Rusty Heddy (predeceased sister, Lawanda Heddy); nephews, Bryan Heddy (Kayla), and Brandon Heddy; Aunt Vicki Sheppard (Don), Aunt Emma Pyles (Marshall), Aunt Carol Lazarus, Aunt Jill Spradley, Uncle Jack Morris (Vicki); and his beloved fur babies, Toker (dog) and Maddie (raccoon).

John will be remembered for his kindness, unwavering integrity, and love for his family. His laughter and wisdom were gifts to everyone who knew him.
