Lexington—Memorial service for John "Bill" Wade Snelgrove, 82, will be 2:00 pm, Monday, March 23, 2020 at Red Bank Baptist Church. The family will receive friends following the service.

Bill was born in Saluda,, SC and was the son of the late James Otis Snelgrove, Sr. and Jessie Rae Harmon. He was a member of Red Bank Baptist Church, retired from Southern Bell after 38 years of service, and was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

Surviving are his devoted wife of 61 years, Vera Sharpe Snelgrove; sons, Mark Wade Snelgrove (Melinda), James Glenn Snelgrove, Chad Wyatt Snelgrove (Rhonda); daughter, Kathy Snelgrove Pharr (Randy); grandchildren; brother, Jerry Snelgrove and sister, Janice Arant.

He was predeceased by seven sisters and three brothers.
