John K Tindall

John K. Tindall, 86, passed away Wednesday, August 7, 2018. Born September 12, 1931 in Horry County, SC, he was a son of the late Lawrence M. Tindall and Carrie Dale McCormick.

An active and faithful church member, Mr. Tindall was an avid Gamecock fan. Mr. Tindall proudly served 20 years in the US ARMY and had received the Bronze Star, National Defense Service, Vietnam Service, Vietnam Campaign, and Good Conduct Medals.

Survivors include his loving wife Leona H. Tindall; sons Ric E. Tindall, George M. Tindall; grandson Elijah A. Tindall; great grandchildren Colton D. Tindall, Chloe Tindall; and a sister Nellie Florree Michaels. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Harold E. Tindall; sisters Estell E. Martin, and Carrie Violet Gasque.

A funeral service for Mr. Tindall will be held 11 am, Friday, 10, 2018, at Crossroads World Outreach, with burial to follow at Southland Memorial Gardens. The family will greet friends Thursday, August 9, 2018 from 6-8 pm, at Barr-Price Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel.
