Pelion - John Rodman McDaniel passed away on April 07, 2021. He was born June 17, 1954 in Bethesda MD, to the late Frances Rodman McDaniel and Ira Graceson McDaniel. Surviving are his wife, Tina S. McDaniel; step-daughter and son-in-law, Frances and Barry Kramer; son and daughter–in-law, Mike and Wendy McDaniel; step-son, Jason Gould; daughter, Carrie McDaniel; daughter, Brittany McDaniel; granddaughters, Kellie McDaniel, Haley McDaniel; grandson, Jordan McDaniel; and granddaughters, Alisha McDaniel, Casey McDaniel, and Jenny McDaniel.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his step-son, Christopher Gould, and his son, Keith McDaniel.
A Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m., Saturday, April 24, 2021 at Barr Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Lexington Chapel.
A Memorial Service to celebrate John’s life will be held at a future date at Faith Baptist Church, 801 S. Maple St. Columbia, SC 29205.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Faith Baptist Church in John McDaniel’s name.
