John Edward Gronda

John Edward Gronda, 91, passed away Monday, November 13, 2023. Born in Wyandotte, Michigan, he was the son to the late Ernest and Teresa Tuttle Gronda. Mr. Gronda received a B. S. degree in Business Administration from Bowling Green State University. He served in the United States Army. While in the Army he married, Jean Cullerne, who he had known since grade school. Following his service in the Army, he was employed by Ford Motor Company. He held various positions at Ford until 1990 when he retired as an executive in the Human Resources Department. He enjoyed his free time on the golf course and fishing. Mr. Gronda received numerous awards and accolades for his generous volunteer efforts on behalf of Church related activities, charitable organizations and local food banks.

Mr. Gronda is survived by his wife of 69 years, Jean Gronda; sons, John (Michele) and Christopher (Kim) Gronda; daughters, Kathy Troungo (Bill) and Julie Gronda; grandchildren, Allisun Wiseman (Ty), John Gronda, Emma Gronda, and Lauren Allred (Jared); and great-grandchildren, Hannah, Tyler, Hailey, Bentley, Liam, Max, Kinleigh, Hunter, Owen and Zoey.

He was predeceased by his brothers, Charles “Charlie”, William “Willy”, and Ernest “Ernie” Gronda.
