John H. Andrews

John H. Andrews, Jr., 68, of Cayce passed away peacefully on July 28. Born on June 24, 1952, he was the son of the late J. H. Andrews, Sr. and Mary (Prid) Andrews of Sumter.

John was a 1975 graduate of Clemson University with a B.S. degree in Food Science. His most rewarding job was in Hospital Services at the American Red Cross where he was employed for 13 years. John loved God, his family, fishing, and Clemson football.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Linda Murrell Andrews; two daughters, Holly A. Terrell of Cayce, and Heather A. Collins (Brad) of Batesburg-Leesville; two grandsons, John-Jacob “Jake” Terrell and Christian Collins; one brother, William Michael “Mickey” Andrews (Gail) of Sumter; and one nephew, Terry Smith of Montana.

A memorial service will be held in the near future. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to Kittiwake Baptist Church, 420 Kitti Wake Dr., West Columbia, SC 29170. Please mark donations G-6 Fund. This fund helps those still unemployed and waiting on checks to come in.
