Joan Deloris Knight

Ms. Joan Deloris Knight, 87, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 5, 2026. She was born on October 11, 1938 in Columbia, South Carolina to the late Wilber “Earl” and Erma Cassey Hendrix. Joan worked various jobs in her lifetime from driving an 18 wheeler to being a caregiver until her retirement. She had a love for dogs and flower gardening.

Surviving are her son, Danny Knight (Carol); daughter, Bonnie Sikes; grandson, Daniel Knight; and great-grandson, Noah Knight.

In accordance with Ms. Joan’s wishes, no formal services will be held. Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic Batesburg-Leesville Chapel is assisting the Knight family with arrangements.
