Jimmy Strickland Obituary

Jimmy Strickland, 80 of Columbia, SC passed away April 25, 2025. He was born on June 28, 1944, a son of the late Emma and K. O. Strickland.

Jimmy is survived by his wife Carol (Lynn) Strickland. He is also survived by his step-daughter Christine Avery (Bill); his five grandchildren, Kathryn (Katy) Freeman, Madelyn Chavis (Jeff), Kristine Avery, Amanda Avery and William Avery; great-grandchildren, Stella Avery, Morgan Chavis and River Chavis.

He is predeceased by his daughter Cheryl Freeman.
