Leesville—Jimmy Oxendine departed his earthly home at Brian Center Nursing Care/St. Andrews to find peace and rest with his Lord and Savior on September 13, 2021. The funeral will be held at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic B-L Chapel on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at 2:00 pm. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Ridge Crest Memorial Park.
Jimmy was born in Laurinburg, NC on September 13, 1960. He was a son of the late Charlie B. and Edna Norton Oxendine.
He is survived by sons, Rodney (Meghan) Oxendine, Josh Oxendine and Patrick Oxendine, daughter, Kelly (Jeff) Harmon, brothers, Daniel (Judy) Oxendine, Charlie B. (Carol) Oxendine, Jr., and Allen (Judy) Oxendine, sister, Carolyn Elmore, eleven grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Jimmy was predeceased by sisters, Lucille Leviner and Bernice Locklear, brothers-in-law, William Leviner and Roger Elmore.
