Jimmy Darrell Price

Jimmy Darrell Price, passed away on August 30, 2025. Known for his wit, creativity, and loving nature, Jimmy was a proud supporter of the South Carolina Gamecocks. Jimmy retired from a satisfying career as an installer with a local glass company, where his creative skills shone through in the work he did.
Jimmy found joy in simple pleasures like fishing, golfing, drawing, and painting. Yet, his greatest joy was his granddaughter, Aleya, who was the apple of his eye.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dowell "Squeak” and Elsie Sawyer Price and his best friend, Billy Cordell.

Jimmy is survived by his adored daughter, Danielle Price, and granddaughter, Aleya Price; sisters, Christy Hoover and Linda Ford, their husbands, Danny and Mike, and his former wife, Miranda Gwyn.
A memorial service for Jimmy will be held on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at 3:00pm at Barr-Price Funeral Homes and Crematorium in Lexington, SC. Services will be under the direction of Barr-Price Funeral Homes and Crematorium.
