West-Columbia-Levon departed this earthly world for the Heavenly one on April 27, 2021, to reunite with Curtis, her husband of over 68 years, in the Arms of Our Lord.
She was born in Marlboro County, SC, to Jesse Floyd Jackson and Emma Jane Pruitt Jackson. She lived in Georgetown and Pawleys Island, SC, for over 50 years before moving to South Congaree in 2005.
Levon loved gardening, sewing, knitting, crocheting, and cooking. She was famous for her pound cake. She loved attending church and was a devoted member of Congaree Baptist Church.
Levon is survived by three sons: Don (Shirley) of Wilmington, NC; Ron (Karen) of Montgomery, AL; Wayne (Cathy) of Lexington, SC; six grandchildren: Amy Gillespie (Jason) of Wilmington, NC; Jeffrey (Nikki) of Allen, TX; Drew (Eden) of Montgomery, AL; Tyler (Allyson) of Raleigh, NC; Ryan of San Antonio, TX; and Amber of Charlotte, NC; ten great-grandchildren: Madison, Hannah, Lukas, Matthew, Charlotte, Wren, Bethany, Ava, Sophia, and Jules. She is survived by a brother, Tom Jackson (Shirley) of Bennettsville, SC, a special niece and caregiver Linda Stanton Smith, plus numerous other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and three sisters: Louise Jackson, Ada Caudill, and Marguerite Creech.
A graveside service will be conducted at Pawleys Island Presbyterian Church Cemetery, 9967 Ocean Hwy Pawleys Island, SC, at 1:00 PM on Friday, April 30. The family request no flowers. Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Lexington Chapel is assisting the family.
