Jeffrey "Jeff " Allen

Private graveside service for Jeffrey “Jeff” E. Allen, 49, will be held Tuesday, April 1, 2025 followed with a celebration of life from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at The Grove on Augusta, 3152 Augusta Highway, Gilbert SC 29054. Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic Batesburg-Leesville Chapel is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.

Jeff passed away Thursday, March 27, 2025. Born in West Columbia, he was a son of Marion “Sparky” Allen and the late Kay Wise Lundy. Jeffrey built his life around the things he loved. In his teens Jeffrey opened his first detail business. After mastering this craft he quickly expanded to building a Custom shop focused on builds that pushed the creative envelope. Never one to settle, Jeff constantly had his eye on new projects that often seemed impossible to others. Jeff visualized in exceptional detail his projects long before others could grasp the idea of the build.  

Jeff decided in his 20s that he “couldn’t get taller, so better get bigger” which fueled him to build a 24hr Gym and Nutrition Store.  Jeff dedicated himself to growing as a Body Builder and creating a space for minds to clear and bodies to grow within his gym.  

Jeff was unapologetically honest and loyal, often at his own detriment. He was a confidant, mentor, and big brother to many. Jeff found joy in helping others and was the ultimate “I know a guy”, bringing people from all paths of lives together.  

Jeff fought his illness with the same dogged determination that he built his businesses. Thank you to those who respected his privacy and respected his wishes on his journey.   

His love remains with his parents Marion “Sparky” and Susan Allen, wife/better half Faban Marie, his girls Sarah, Kelly, and Jenna, his sisters Kimberly Uhlar (Shane), Jennifer Johnson (Devin), Brittany Kirkland, his Mother in Law Siller Anderson, his Brother in Law Anthony Branham (Terrin), Step Brother Austin Riley (Danielle), 7 nephews: Trent Allen, Brentley Allen, Joshua Uhlar, Matthew Kirkland, Tanner Johnson, Lane Johnson and Tripp Branham, 4 nieces: Jayda Uhlar, Avery Kirkland, Emerson Riley and Teagan Branham. 

He is predeceased by his beloved Mom, Kay Wise Lundy.

In lieu of flowers, there will be an opportunity to contribute towards the Xtreme Customs Scholarship fund which benefits causes close to Jeffrey’s heart.
