Jeffery Ray Holder

Jeffery "Jeff" Ray Holder, 79, passed away on March 28, 2024 in Columbia, SC.

Son of Eula (Ball) Holder and Norman "Buck" Holder, he was born on January 19, 1945 in Columbia, SC. He graduated from Olympia High School. Jeff had a career in construction, building homes. Jeff enjoyed riding motorcycles, drag racing, trips to the mountains, boxing, westerns, Motown music and the Clemson Tigers. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Jeff was always there to lend a helping hand.

Jeff is survived by his children, Justin Holder and Rhonda (Ricky Murphy) Meetze; sisters, Coleen Frye, Sheila (Ricky) Stewart; grandchildren, Brylie Holder and Trinity Yarborough; ex-wife, Jean Holder and many nieces and nephews, all of whom will miss him dearly.

Jeff was predeceased by his parents, Buck and Eula Holder; his brothers, Tommy, Johnny and Doug; brother-in-law, Kenny Frye; his grandson, Dustin Chaney and ex-wife Betty (Argoe) Holder.

If you would like to pay your respects, a service to celebrate his life will be held at Barr-Price Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel, 609 Northwood Road, Lexington, SC 29071 on Sunday April 7, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive visitors before the service at 1:00 p.m.
