Jeannie Lee Austin

We regretfully announce the passing of Jeannie Lee Austin, 62, of Columbia, South Carolina. Jeannie was born December 3, 1963 in Wichita, Kansas. She passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at her residence. 

Jeannie was predeceased by her parents, Jerald Hayes and Lollie Hutchins.

She is survived by her 4 children, Christina Scott, Danny Austin, Joshua Austin, and Amanda Landrum; along with 14 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild. 

A private graveside service will be held at Walnut Valley Cemetery for her immediate family. A celebration of life will be held on July 26, 2026 at 1 pm at Marion Lake, Kansas. Flowers may be sent through Walter's Flowers, 316-321-1740. Orders should be placed no later than Monday July 6th. Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Lexington Chapel is assisting the family.
