Jeanette Land Eskew

Jeanette Land Eskew, of Lexington, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on April 13, 2024, just shy of her 96th birthday. She was born on December 18, 1928, in Anderson, South Carolina, to the late J.T. and Ora Land. Jeanette was a devoted mother, grandmother, and member of her community. She had a fulfilling career as an Executive Support Specialist with the Department of Highway and Transportation until her retirement. She was an active member of Light House Baptist Church and was formerly associated with Fellowship Baptist Church. Jeanette was also a member of TOPS for 25 years.

Jeanette was predeceased by her beloved husband, William Eskew; her daughter, Janet Hott; and her parents.

She is survived by her son, Dale and her two cherished grandchildren, Blake (Christa) Hott and Lauren Hott; and great grandchildren, Mason and Amelia Hott.

The visitation will take place on Saturday, April 20, 2024, at 10:00 am at Barr-Price Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel, located at 609 Northwood Road, Lexington, South Carolina, 29072. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 am at the same location. The entombment will take place following the service at Southland Memorial Gardens, 700 West Dunbar Road, West Columbia, South Carolina, 29170.
