Funeral services for Nancy Jean Porth Fallaw, 85, will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Sunday, November 30, 2025 at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic Batesburg-Leesville Chapel with the Rev. Steven Little officiating. A graveside service will be held at 4:00 p.m. following the chapel service at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Agape Hospice Care.
Mrs. Jean passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 25, 2025. She was born on November 9, 1940 in Gilbert, South Carolina to the late Raymond Zinsky and Iva Beatrice Long Porth. Mrs. Jean was active in her community where she served as Chairman for the Lexington County Peach Festival Arts & Crafts for over 45 years, was member of the Gilbert Community Club, and was a retired crossing guard at Batesburg-Leesville Elementary School. She also was a member of Providence Baptist Church, and co-founded Fallaw Heating & Air with her husband Seth Fallaw in 1978.
Surviving are her daughters, Nancy Smart, Gayle Minemier (Mark), Tammy Fallaw (Pat Cockrell); and Wanda Montgomery (Larry); 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She is predeceased by her husband, Seth Edson Fallaw; son, Terry Fallaw; and sister, Wayring “Sandy” Black.
