Jason R. Wise

Services for Jason Ray Wise, 61, will be conducted 4:00 p.m., Monday, July 14, 2025 at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic Batesburg-Leesville Chapel.  The family will receive friends beginning at 2:00 p.m. prior to the service. Mr. Wise passed away Wednesday, July 9, 2025.  Born in Lexington County, he was a son of the late Jason Bradford Wise and Mary Alise Senn Wise.  He was the owner-operator of Wise Choice Tree Services.

Surviving are his wife, Christine H. Taylor; children, Marcus Edwards, Shelby Wise (Michael Governale), Madalynn Wise, and Patricia Wise; brother, Gene Wise; and a granddaughter, Scarlett Hicks. He was predeceased by brothers, Roy Wise and Jerry Wise, and a sister Kay W. Riley.
