Janice Boatwright Bedenbaugh

Graveside services for Janice Boatwright Bedenbaugh, 84, will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 1, 2025 at Ridge Crest Memorial Park with the Rev. Ken Freeman officiating. The family will receive friends following the graveside service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to King Partner Program, 3890 Sardis Road Batesburg, SC 29006. Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic Batesburg-Leesville Chapel is assisting the Bedenbaugh family.

Mrs. Janice passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 27, 2025. She was born on January 3, 1941 in Lexington County, SC to the late Anthony Drexel and Lafonda Kneece Boatwright. Janice was a graduate of Batesburg-Leesville High School, a member of Nazareth Methodist Church, homemaker, and worked for many years at the Wagon Wheel Restaurant in Leesville.

Surviving are her sons, Von Bedenbaugh (Karen) and Regie Bedenbaugh (Missy); sister, Wanda Kay Kunis (Bob); sister-in-law, Barbara Boatwright; and grandchildren, Derek Bedenbaugh, Devin Bedenbaugh (Kelsey), Daren Bedenbaugh and Bryce Bedenbaugh; and great-grandson, Deklan Bedenbaugh.

Janice is predeceased by her husband, Wendell Bedenbaugh; brothers, Marvin Boatwright and Darrell Boatwright (Marie).
