Jane “Beverly” Pilot
Heaven received another angel on May 14, 2023 at 1:15 a.m.. Beverly was called home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She fought the “Fight”, ran the “Race” and now she is in Paradise with Jesus and all her family and friends that have gone before her.
Born in Sarasota, Florida on January 9, 1955, she was the daughter of Doris Peters and the late Early Henry Peters. Survivors include her mother, Doris Peters, a sister, Belinda “Faye” Fridley (Delmas) and children, Bret, Lisa and Lee, brothers, Early William Peters (Terrie) and children, Chelsie and Early, Joseph Lee Peters (Reba) and son, Joe L. Peters, Jr. Beverly was the “Proud” mother of “John” Wayne Creasy (Lori) and they gave Beverly an amazing granddaughter, Kristen Miller (Kyle). She is also survived by her “Loving” step-son, Joseph Pilot (Dale) and son, Mathew (Danelle), most importantly Beverly was married to the “Love of Her Life”, Grover Brunson Pilot. They enjoyed 30 years of a Life of Love and Adventures together and they made many friends along their journey.
Having many friends, Beverly was blessed with an Earthly Angel, Cheryl Bass, who is a Special Friend through the good years and with Beverly’s fight against cancer.
Beverly loved her Lord and Savior, Grover Pilot, her family and many friends. She loved Lake Murray, fishing, boat riding and life itself. She will be missed but never forgotten.
A Celebration of Life will be held at ”The Building”, 9 Canvas Back Road, Gilbert, SC, one of her favorite places, on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service. Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic B-L Chapel, is assisting the family.
In lieu of flowers, Beverly requested donations be made to the American Cancer Society. Donations can be made through their website or additional information can be received by calling 1-800-227-2345.
