James Vaughan Obituary

James Edward Vaughan, 65, of Columbia, SC, passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2020. He was born in Marion County, SC on September 3, 1954, to the late James Edward Vaughan and the late Georgia Gerrald Mildice.

He was a very intelligent person and gifted musically. James could pick up any instrument and play it. He was a lover of music and played all instruments with ease.

James is survived by a very special aunt, Frankie Rish Eillis, his mother’s twin sister; cousin Felicia Tanner; and several other aunts, uncles and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, J. W. Vaughan, Ruby Leigh Johnson, William Franklin Gerrald and Georgianna Brown.
