James Eric Crosby, 49, passed away at Lexington Medical Center on October 30, 2020. James was born on June 12, 1971 in Portsmouth, Virginia to Hughie Rogers Crosby and Dorothy Walling Crosby.
James enjoyed hunting and fishing and he shared that love with his friends and family. He served in the Navy. He spent time as a girls’ softball coach and impacted many lives during that time. James also spent time as a diesel mechanic for Penske, making many lasting friendships.
James is survived by his mother, Dorothy Crosby; his brothers, Berley and Wayne Crosby; his children, Kristin Crosby, Adrianna (Jesus) Mena, Thomas “TJ” Crosby, and Ian Crosby; his step-daughter, Caitlin (Brandon) Clem; his granddaughter, Marianna Mena; his estranged wife, Monica Crosby; his fiancé, Jessica Johnson and her two daughters; as well as several extended family members.
The family will be having a private memorial. Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Lexington Chapel, is assisting the family.
