Glinda Hurt Gunter

Leesville-Services for Glinda Hurt Gunter, 75, will be conducted 2:00 PM Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic B-L Chapel. Burial will follow at Cedar Grove Lutheran Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Friday, January 14, 2022 at the funeral home.

  Mrs. Gunter died Monday January 10, 2022.  Born in Greenwood, she was a daughter of the late Cole Blease and Christine Mitchell Hurt.  She was a member of Cedar Grove Lutheran Church, a textile employee, and loved to sing.

  Surviving are her husband, Robert  C. Gunter; daughters,  Melissa Hutto,  Linda Lee Free (Jimmy), and Joyce E. Faulkner (Tommy); brothers, Ronnie and Phillip Hurt;  sisters, Peggy Duhamel and her twin sister, Linda Shealy Risinger; 7 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
