Glen Morris Rice Jr.

Batesburg—Glen Morris Rice Jr., 72, passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at his home. Graveside services will be held at Ridge Crest Memorial Park Saturday, January 16, 2021 at 2:00 p.m.  Visitation will be at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic B-L Chapel Friday, January 15, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  Glen was born in Greenville, SC to Glen Morris Rice Sr. and Paula Ann Wenz Rice.  Mr. Rice attended Montreat Anderson and graduated from the University of South Carolina. He was the president and owner of Rice and Associates Marketing, and faithful member of Batesburg-Leesville Presbyterian Church where he was in the choir and session.  Also proudly serving in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War, but most of all he was a loving husband, father, grandfather, he adored music, the Clemson Tigers, Labrador Retrievers and Beaufort, SC. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Batesburg-Leesville Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 2089, Batesburg-Leesville, SC 29070 or Encompass Home Health, 37 Varden Drive, Aiken, SC 29803.

Surviving are his wife, Mary Ann Allen Rice; son, Glen M. Rice III (Kami); daughter, Maryann Rice Mooney (Chris); grandchildren, Kingsley Rice, Ali Rice, Porter Mooney, Paxton Mooney and Tommy Rice; and a brother, Roger Rice.
