Franklin Neal Scruggs Obituary

West Columbia-Franklin Scruggs passed away peacefully on October 1st, 2021 at his home in West Columbia, SC after being diagnosed with colon cancer. He was born in Chesnee, SC to Mary Jo Thompson and O’Neal Scruggs.

Franklin is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Scruggs; 4 children, Valerie Scruggs, Franklin Scruggs, Jr., Justin Scruggs and Jessica Scruggs; 6 grandsons, Logan Neal, Kameron Wood, Hayden Wood, Braden Scruggs, James Gunter, III, and Jace Neal; 4 granddaughters, Brianna Neal, Evelynn Smith and Peyton Neal; and sister, Cindy Harmon.

He joined his father, O’Neal, his mother, Mary Jo Teal, and his beloved sister, Glennis Gantt-Scruggs in Heaven.

Frank enjoyed spending time with his family, and especially his loving wife, Mary Ann. He was known to love a nice cold beer in hot weather. He was loved so very dearly by his family.
