Frank Farr, Sr.

Our father frank Farr Sr. born on September 12, 1927 passed away peacefully on Sunday September 14, 2025 at the age of 98. He was a member of Bethel Baptist church in Prosperity, SC. He owned a TV repair business and was a lifelong music teacher who taught countless numbers of students, and enjoyed the time he spent with each one of them. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Boyd and Lola Farr; his wife, Mary Bedenbaugh Farr; his brothers, Bill and Jack; and sisters, Mamie Lou and Mable; along with his son, Ronald Farr; and grandson, Brandon J. Farr.

He is survived by his daughter, Judy Powell (Dwayne); son, Frank Farr Jr. (Cindy); his daughter in law, Cathy Farr; grandchildren, Garrett and Gable; Corey and Darby Farr; Bronson, Damon, Casey and Ryan Farr; Cassandra, Tiffany, and Michael Peacock. 

We would like to thank the staff of VIA Hospice for their love and care and especially for Hailey and Rebecca who always brought laughter into his life. 

The visitation will be held on Sunday, September 21, 2025 at Barr-Price Funeral Home in Lexington, SC at 3 PM with full military honors. Memorials may be made to VIA Hospice of Laurens, or to a charity of your choice.
