Mrs. Fannie Mae Martin, 80, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 28, 2026. She was born on July 14, 1945 in Batesburg-Leesville, South Carolina to the late Nat Rowe and Mattie Etheridge. Fannie Mae was a member of Olive Branch Baptist Church and attended Twin-City Schools.
Surviving are her sons, Tony Martin and Freddie Martin; daughters, Brenda Martin Smith and Carolyn Martin Gary (Albert) – her caregiver; 16 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be conducted 12:00 noon Monday, May 4, 2026 at Olive Branch Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. James E. Dukes officiating. Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic Batesburg-Leesville Chapel is assisting the Martin family with arrangements
