Memorial services for Ernestine Shealy Hite, 71, will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 25, 2022 at Union Lutheran Church with the Rev. Bill Ebener officiating. The family will receive friends after the service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 200 Center Point Cir. # 100, Columbia, SC 29210 or Union Lutheran Church, 4077 US-378, Leesville, SC 29070. Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic B-L Chapel is assisting the family.
Mrs. Hite passed away Sunday, November 20, 2022. Born in Richland County she was a daughter of the late Ellis and Mildred Keisler Shealy. She retired from the Country Peddler after 24 years and from the Saluda County School District as a bus driver.
Surviving are her sons, Scotty Black (Amanda), Christopher Black; daughter, Alethea Carlton; 11 grandchildren; 1 great-grandson; brother, Carlton Shealy and a sister, Marie Higgins.
She was predeceased by her husband Billy E. Hite.
