Emily "Libby" Corley

Graveside service for Emily Elizabeth “Libby” Corley, 78, will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Thursday, April 18 2024 at First Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Mendel Baker officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic Batesburg-Leesville Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Shriner’s Hospital, 950 West Feris Road, Greenville SC 29605 or to the Humane Society, 405 Greenlawn Drive, Columbia SC 29209.

Mrs. Libby passed away Sunday, April 14, 2024. Born in Richland County, she was a daughter of the late Orel Verley and Ola Katherine Amick Craps. She was a member of First Calvary Baptist Church and retired from Union Switch and Signal.

Surviving are her son, Dwayne Corley (Lorie); daughters, Rejina Bagwell (James) and Latisha McCollum (Rick); brother, Eddie Craps; sisters, Rachel Risinger and Katherine Sherrod; 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, James W. Corley Jr.; and brothers, Everette Craps and Curtis Craps.
