Ellen T. Stockwell

Ellen T. Stockwell, 75, was born February 19, 1947 in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania and passed away on Tuesday, April 25, 2022 in Lexington, SC.

Ms. Stockwell was an outgoing person with a heart so big that no one remained unaffected. In her work as a office manager, she touched many lives and the hearts of her patients and coworkers. She was given an award for Medical Manager of the Year.  

She was dedicated to her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She loved to travel and press her toes in the sand at the beach. Family dinners were important to her and would stretch on for extended periods of time. She was an avid television watcher shows Outlander, Charmed, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and Angel.

Her generosity knew no bounds, and she was there for her family and friends through thick and thin.  Nothing can ever replace the way her light touched the lives of her family.

She collected angels and now she has gained her wings.

Surviving include her brother, Tony “Ron” Timms (Becky) of Alabama; two daughters, Renee Williams (Paul) of Lexington; Patsy Garnett (Randy) of Gaston; son, Scott Buzzard of Indiana; grandchildren, Denise Williams of Lexington; Rorey Garnett (Sally) of California; Cathleen Mathena (Ricky) of Gaston; Victoria Summerlin (Zach) of Virginia; seven great grandchildren and  many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by grandson, Vincent Buzzard of Indiana.

Memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 30, 2022 at Centerpointe Community Church at 6119 Platt Springs Rd. Lexington, SC 29073. All family and friends are welcome to pay their respects and join the family in remembrance of a woman that will never be forgotten.
