Ella Cromer Goff

Funeral service for Ella Cromer Goff, 90, will be conducted 3:00 PM Friday, September 8, 2023 at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic B-L Chapel with burial to follow at Ridge Crest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Mrs. Goff passed away Tuesday, September 5, 2023. Born in Saluda, she was a daughter of the late James B. and Dolly Miller Cromer. She was a member of Beulah Baptist Church and was a homemaker.

Surviving are her sons, James B. Goff (Miranda), Edward “Eddie” P. Hook III, and Michael L. Hook; daughters, Brenda G. Lawson (Curlie), Delphine Goff, and Cathy June Goff; brothers, William S. Cromer and Kenneth Cromer; 9 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her first husband, George C. Goff; second husband, Edward P. Hook II; brothers, Ralph Cromer, Charles Cromer, J.D. Cromer, and Pellam Cromer; and sisters, Margie Perry and Elvira Lewis; grandson, Steve Lawson, and great-grandson, George W. Lawson Jr.
