Elizabeth Susan Shaw Magee

Lexington, SC – Mrs. Elizabeth Susan Shaw Magee, 75, passed away September 11, 2018 in Lexington, SC.

Susan was active in her church, especially the music ministry.  She participated as a vocal soloist, choir member, and performed with the hand bell choir.  She was also active in Bible study and outreach.

She was married to Dr. James O. Shaw, MD until his death in August, 2001, and to James Magee from 2007 until his death in November, 2017.

Susan raised three sons, and delighted in her grandchildren. She will be fondly remembered by her family for her loving care, humor, and dazzling smile.

She is survived by her mother, Dorothy Christy, and her brother, Jerry Asher, of Franklin, NC; and three sons, John Shaw of Dexter, MI, Gregory Shaw of Marietta, GA, and Jeffrey (JD) Shaw of Lexington, SC.
