Obituary
Celebration of life for Elizabeth Summer Clamp, 81, will be conducted 4:00 p.m., Thursday, January 26, 2023 at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic B-L Chapel. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
Mrs. Clamp passed away Friday, January 20, 2023. She was a daughter of the late Daniel Herbert and Rosalee Holley Summer. She was an avid gardener, loved to sew, crochet, cook and fish. Mrs. Clamp loved to vacation at Hunting Island, but above all, her proudest role in life was being a grandma and great-grandma.
Surviving are her husband of 63 years, Herbert Lee Clamp; daughter, Cheryl Cockrell (Jeff); grandchildren, Tonya Meetze, Cassandra Teets (Matt), Christina Seboe (Brandon); 5 great-grandchild; brothers, Johnnie Summer; sisters, Brenda Lee Shealy, and Wanda Stamps.
She was predeceased by her brothers, Bennie Lee Summer, Robert Summer; sisters, Irene Smith and Hazel Conelly.
