Edwin Reece McCall

Edwin Reece (E.R.) McCall, Jr., 80, passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2022, at his home in Swansea, SC.

Mr. McCall is survived by one daughter, Reece Ann McCall of Swansea, SC; one son, Edwin McCall, III, of Swansea, SC; one grandson, Patrick McCall (Gina) of Swansea, SC; and three great-grandchildren, Cameron, Rivers, and Lakynn; three sisters, Naamah (June) Walker (Billy) of Whiteville, NC, Elizabeth (Lib) Smith of Dunn, NC, Emily Roberson (Tom) of Elizabethtown, NC; and one brother, Wayne McCall of Maury, NC. He was predeceased by his parents, Edwin and Edna Wilson McCall; two brothers, Herman Wilson and Merrold McCall; and one sister, Roslyn M. Phillips

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2022 from 6-8 pm at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Lexington Chapel, 609 Northwood Road, Lexington, SC 29072.

A graveside service will be held 1pm, Monday, May 9, 2022  at the McCall Family Cemetery, Burney Ford Road, Clarkton, NC with Pastor Howard Smith officiating. The family will accept friends and family at the family farm at 3778 Mercermill Brown Marsh Road, Elizabethtown, NC after the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to McCall Family Cemetery, C/O Emily Roberson, 1507 Greenwood Street, Elizabethtown, NC 28337.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Lorraine Harley and the rest of the staff at Pathway Hospice, West Columbia, SC for the great care given during E.R.’s illness.
