Services for E. Ray Keisler Jr., 93, will be held 2:00 pm Friday November 7, 2025 at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic B-L Chapel. Entombment will follow at Christ the Good Shepherd Mausoleum at Ridge Crest Memorial Park. The visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 1:45pm prior to the service at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Tom Cullum, Tony Sharpe, Trebor Sharpe, Joshua Keisler, Ethan Keisler and Brandon Keisler. Honorary Pallbearers include: Lloyd Brown, Harold Riley, Bill Stanley, Rick Cullum, Dale Cullum, Rodney Sharpe, Todd Sharpe, Marc Keisler, and Megan Rae Keisler Robitaille. Mr. Keisler peacefully passed away November 2, 2025. Born on October 9, 1932 in Fayetteville NC, he was the son of the late Eli Ray Keisler Sr. and Ina Taylor Keisler of Gilbert, SC. A veteran of the United States Marine Corps, he proudly served his country for 8 years during the Korean War. He enjoyed the outdoors with hobbies from fishing to playing golf. For 54 years, he was married to the late Jeanette (Jay) Sharpe Keisler and resided in Batesburg-Leesville, SC.
He is survived by his 3 sons, Dane M. Keisler of Lexington, SC, Stacy N. Keisler of Land O Lakes, FL and Garry T. Keisler of Fuquay Varina NC; a sister, June Cullum of North Augusta, SC; 5 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his cherished friend, Juanita Riley of Leesville, SC. who’s love, friendship and unwavering support brought him many years of comfort and happiness.
He was predeceased by his wife; parents; and a brother, Winfred Keisler.
