Memorial services for Douglas L. Oliver, 76, will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 8, 2023 at Faith Baptist Church in Swansea with the Rev. Ken Harmon and Rev. Lee Butler officiating. Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic B-L Chapel is assisting the family
Mr. Oliver passed away Friday, June 2, 2023. Born in Lafeyette, GA, he was the son of the late Robert Deyo and Ruby Elizabeth Durst Oliver.
Surviving are his wife, Buffy L. Bolin; son, Bobby Oliver (Tracey); daughters, Crystal Roebuck (Mike), Amy Rish; step-daughter, Taylor Frost; grandchildren, great-grandchildren; brother, Jerry Oliver; sisters, Janice Kemmerlin, Linda Dewitt (Charles), Glenda Ryder (Quintin), Gail Miller; sister-in-law, Wendy Jumper (Troy) and numerous nieces and nephews
He was predeceased by a son Terry Oliver.
